Anytime you create a New List Item, there is a checkbox setting that says Required: Don’t Allow “N/A”.
When employees are using the Jolt App, if the “Required” box is checked, an employee cannot skip or mark this item as Not Applicable! They must complete the item or it will mark as incomplete and then management can be notified based upon predefined text/email alerts.
The Required: Don’t Allow “N/A” box is always checked by default. However, in your particular circumstances, some items may not need to be required in certain situations. If that is the case, then simply uncheck this box.
From within the Jolt App, this now means that on that particular item, an employee can click the pencil to the right and mark the item as Not Applicable.
