1. Go to Content > Lists and hit +New List. Name the List Closing Checklist.
a. Be sure to set this list as a Checklist.
2. Click +New Repetition Set. Click +New Display Time and set the start time to 7pm and due time to 11pm.
3. Click +New Notification. Select Manager, text and email, and when an item is overdue.
4. Hit +New List Item and repeat this for the following items.
i. Prompt Text = NEVER CLOSE EARLY – Let guests in if they get here right at close.
i. Prompt Text = Sweep & Mop (Never mop front if customers are present – start in back)
ii. Prompt Text = Take trash out to dumpster
iii. Prompt Text = Close the register (Do not close if non-employees are still in the restaurant)
iv. Prompt Text = Put BOTH the register documents envelope and the cash & deposit bag in the black DROP SAFE (in the back) and make sure that they drop to the bottom.
v. Prompt Text = Turn off Open Signs
vi. Prompt Text = Make sure machines are on STANDBY
vii. Prompt Text = Wipe down ALL the counters, and tables.
viii. Prompt Text = Wash all the dishes
ix. Prompt Text = Clean Bathroom (toilet, sink, mirror and spot clean walls)
x. Prompt Text = Shake Rugs outside, roll up and put in back
xi. Prompt Text = MAKE SURE WHEN YOU LEAVE THAT YOU HAUL ALL OF THE DOORS LOCKED AND THEN PULL ON EACH ONE OF THEM FROM THE OUTSIDE (WHEN YOU LEAVE) TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE SECURE.
xii. Prompt Text = Do a quick walk thru and stock all items that are running low
xiii. Prompt Text = Wipe down tile on the back wall
xiv. Prompt Text = Use delimer to clean sinks
i. Prompt Text = Take a photo of the dining room to verify cleanliness
i. Prompt Text = Sign off once all closing items are complete
