Click HERE for a video on Checklist Repetition Sets.
When you click +New Repetition Set you are presented with these settings. By applying repetition sets to your list, you can control precisely when your list will appear. You can select whatever frequency you would like.
For example, in this picture Sunday has been deselected, meaning that this list will repeat and only show up for employees from Monday – Saturday.
1. Display Times: This is the time that the list will populate on the iPad. Simply click the +New Display Time button to add as many display times as you would like.
a. You customize when the list is due by clicking on the (Due @ ….). It will give you the option to set Minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months.
2. Days to Repeat: Select which days of the week, days of the month, or a custom interval you want your list to repeat.
a. Days of the Week: Highlight the days of the week that you would like your list to appear.
b. Occurrence in Month allows you to select which time the day occurs in the month (i.e. if a list should appear only on the first and third Tuesday of the month, you would highlight the day Tuesday and the occurrence 1 and 3. The default is all occurrences highlighted, so the list will show up every time the day occurs unless you choose otherwise).
c. Days of the Month: Highlight each day (1-31) of the month that you would like the list to appear. The list will only appear on the highlighted days.
d. Every Interval: Select a starting date and then select how often the list should repeat after that date (i.e. starting on this date, the list will appear every 3 days, every 6 weeks, etc.).
3. Months to Repeat:
a. Months: Highlight the months in which you want your list to repeat
b. Ranges: Customize when the lists appear with specific date ranges. You can create as many date ranges as you would like. These work really well for seasonal businesses or seasonal tasks. If you only have to clean the outdoor tables in summer, then you can set the list to only show from March to September.
* There are some Lists or processes you have that do not have/need a repetition, but rather should be called up as needed from the iPad (Maintenance Requests, Employee Performance Reviews, Audits, Employee Write-Ups, etc.). For instructions on how to do this, please reference the article Create a New List Instance From the iPad.
